The results of kinetic investigations the orthodichlorbenzene and orthoxylene sorption by high density polyethylene specimens different thickness for 35 days are presented. It is shown that solvents in swelling polymer its plasticization, which expressed changes mechanical characteristics such as ultimate strength, deformation to failure, Young's modulus.
